Our present education system, we know, pursues aberrant curriculums more useful for those who wish to make it a means to an end – and that end is inevitably money – than for those who consider education an end in itself, who unfortunately are very few. One would rather become an Engineer, a Doctor, an MBA, an IT professional, a banker, an actor, a model – anything that would fetch maximum money in minimum possible time. He seems to be always at endeavour to enhance his ‘market value’, even at the cost of human values that sustain the Society.
Days appear to have gone down to the depths of the past when education was looked upon ‘as a comprehensive, holistic, all-encompassing endeavour to elevate one’s level of consciousness to the point where one is able to embark on a journey to self-development and self-fulfillment. The obvious outcome of the present system of education is therefore, as observed by Companies that employ graduates and post-graduates for various positions, is its failure in fulfilling its primary objective: the development and growth of human beings. They lamentably lack the kind of soft skills both personal life and employment entail, such as interactive skills, commitment to the job and community, right attitude, linguistic skills (spoken as well as written communications), listening and reading skills, temperament, team spirit, willingness and capacity for acquiring new knowledge, managerial/leadership skills, need of understanding quality processes, human values, social commitment, responsibility, accountability, etc.

The training and knowledge they get imparted at CASS centres during the Course address all such areas and can tremendously improve their confidence and competence. They are also getting a unique opportunity to get exposed to and imbibe the wealth of knowledge possessed by a section of known personalities and professionals who constitute the Faculty. Experts in various fields, educationists, professionals, professors, scholars and known personalities who could share valuable knowledge and experience to inculcate soft skill capabilities and self-confidence in the trainees will be in the faculty. The over-all objective of the Course is to help them know why they should consider education an on-going process and how effectively they can use the knowledge and skills they have acquired in leading a meaningful and positive life. Curriculum, designed with this end in view, covers a wide range of topics needed to achieve this objective.
