Various studies show, and corporate managers point out too, that our Graduates, Post-graduates and Professional degree-holders, their academic gains apart, are found, on being employed, to lack soft skill capabilities that various posts and positions entail for effective functioning. Our EEP, with ample stress on behavioural and attitudinal skills, enhances the students’ employability and self-confidence markedly. The skill development sessions, conducted by experienced and highly competent CASS Faculty Members, will deal with topics such as Positive thinking, Self-management skills, Stress management skills, Transactional Analysis, Motivation, Role identification/Role play, paving the way for the development of soft skill capabilities like, self-confidence, self-esteem, crisis management, leadership skills, decision making capacity, team work, commitment to job and the Society etc. The success of this programme, no doubt, depends to a very good extent on the valuable initiative and cooperation of the College Principals, which we do seek to have for organizing this programme at their respective colleges.
