Books/classics that cater to the reading requirements of children at their various phases of growth and intellectual development are very few notwithstanding that reading, other than what the curriculum entails, is an essential component in education. What the children need to know as they grow up should reach them in palatable forms. It should also increase their appetite to know more. Once they are in the proper track of pursuing knowledge, the tremendous value and potentials of which they would have by then understood, they cannot possibly stop from proceeding further. But we have severe dearth of compositions that serve the purpose as said above. It is not because that we do not have writers who can bring out such books; but because publishing of such books is not reckoned financially viable. CASS intends to identify resourceful writers and publish their compositions for the benefit of the children. They will also include compositions that can help and guide children in nurturing such skills as writing prose, poetries, stories etc., drawing, painting, sculpturing etc., according to their individual tastes and aptitudes.
